Authorities Suspend Operation for Four-Year-Old Lost in Australia's Remote Area
Australia's police have called off the operation for a four-year-old child who has been disappeared in the remote area for almost several weeks, after renewed attempts proved unsuccessful to find any traces of the youngster.

Gus Lamont was spotted playing around his family property on a secluded farmland in the vicinity of Yunta, about a significant distance from Adelaide, on 27 September.
His family member left him alone for about a short period before looking for him, only to find the child gone, triggering one of the most extensive land and air missions in local past.
Present Position
Authorities - who do not suspect criminal activity - say they will persist examining, but that the situation has become a "recovery mission".
Recently, authorities temporarily wound down the operation, only to restart it on this week alongside numerous military personnel.
"Spokesperson authorities said authorities were scanning a wider region based on updated analyses from medical and rescue professionals, rather than any fresh leads."
Mission Challenges
On recently, officials confirmed that the recent search had not uncovered any traces of the boy.
"The situation that the young boy is a small child, the landscape is extremely rough, challenging and experiencing variable weather conditions has made the mission demanding and more challenging for those participating," authorities said in a announcement.
About 470 square kilometers - an zone about two times the size of Edinburgh - has now been searched, and a twelve-member taskforce set up lately is expected to continue examining. Authorities have not ruled out additional missions of the area in the time ahead.

"This has come as a shock to our relatives and loved ones, and we are having trouble to comprehend what has transpired," the spokesperson said.
"The child's loss is experienced in each family member, and we long for him more than language can express."
