Skydance Paramount Set to Remove Around 2,000 United States Roles – Update

Skydance Paramount is scheduled to initiate mass layoffs the week of 27 October, removing approximately 2,000 American roles under a expense reduction strategy totaling $2bn overseen by CEO David Ellison.

The workforce reduction come after the union between Skydance Media and Paramount Global, finalized during August worth $8.4bn.

Further international job cuts are likely, with Paramount Skydance aiming to announce complete information via its Q3 financial results on 10 November.
