Shot-stopper
Alphonse Areola (West Ham): The Hammers could have been six behind at Bournemouth but for him. Key display, delivered and demonstrated real class. Some top goalkeeping to secure a 2-2 draw. Defeat could have dismantled their campaign.
Backline
Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's up there for season's best. Many discuss Gunners' stars. He's been the standout player by a country mile.
Murillo (Nottingham Forest): You'd have been a mad supporter to say 'He scores and we defeat Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. The odds were huge prices on that. He was excellent. He is emerging as a force. He is truly a handful. Delighted to observe his form like last season.
Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I saw him a few times the previous season in Italy for AC Milan and he had difficulties due to errors. However with the Magpies he's been a monster. He displays immense power and imposing and seems polished. It looks like he has secured a ideal club.
Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not naturally a defender, leaning towards a modern type going forward. He has proven to be a excellent acquisition for Brighton. Who would be surprised at them finding another gem from obscurity? It seemed releasing Pervis Estupinan it was odd but the club is aware what they're doing.
Central players
Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Similar players and they make it for the same reason. Their clubs triumphed, everyone will talk about the goalscorers, but lacking these players the squads falter. They excel. They disrupt opposition, they attack together.
Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The man of the moment. Many Arsenal fans, like my child, were questioning about his ability as the man to lead them to success. A hat-trick in the north London derby and now they want to erect a monument of him. Finishing, poise, he dominated. The top performer on the pitch.
Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Possibly the only aspect I share with Thomas Tuchel on - he has got to a point now where it's going to be quite challenging to leave him out. I felt he had a great start this campaign, In my opinion he was a little bit entitled and hoped he might join to Chelsea, and likely desired it, but he appears to have settled down. Two great goals obviously against Leeds pulled his side from a deficit. He proved decisive.
Forwards
Callum Wilson (West Ham): I mentioned he appeared not his normal self. He looked like he'd lost a yard. However, incredible. That's all I can say. He performed superbly. Brilliant in his play and in his dual goals.
Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A particularly intriguing player. He performs strongly, often more effective off the bench, but Anthony Gordon has an injury so he must start. He missed a great opportunity against Manchester City at 0-0 with his most straightforward effort. Yet possessing the mental fortitude to put himself in difficult situations and score twice was great.
Coach
Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He comes in and beats Arne Slot. A wonderful gameplan. It might have been multiple goals for Forest and all would agree.
